The Gold Cup is one of the main dates in the English Polo Calendar. It is a very popular day for all involved in Polo, as it is the last tournament of the English High Goal Season. Situated at the Cowdray Estate in Sussex, it is played on a pitch overlooked by the ruins of Cowdray Castle. It was an amazing match between two of the biggest names in High Goal, with great performances from both teams, on an unusually hot English summers day. The Winners, The Dubai Polo Team finally took the stand to receive The Gold Cup from Sarah Ferguson, with Piki Alberdi winning the prize for the ‘Best Playing Pony’.
